As the weather gets better, Cyprus is an ideal place to spend a day outside with family, and allow the kids to enjoy nature and have fun.
These eight festivals being held across the island are ideal for families with children, as they will feature fun and games for all.

30th Children’s Festival – Protaras
At this festival, hosted by the Paralimni Municipality and Children’s Welfare and Protection Committee for International Children’s Day, kids will have the chance to play games, take part in various art activities, and get their face painted.

Water, children, drops of life
In the Geri area of Nicosia on Friday, children and adults will have a chance to take part in various fun activities organised by the municipality for International Children’s Day. There will be games involving water and gardening, and they will serve free ice cream and hot dogs.
When: Friday, May 31, Sculpture Park Ayios Charalambos, Geri, Nicosia starting at 17:30.
Children’s Day at the Ayios Georgios Farm
To celebrate International Children’s Day, the Ayios Georgios Farm in Skarinou is hosting an event. Where families can enjoy traditional food, live music, face-painting, blow-up castles, and pony and donkey rides.

Children’s Festival at Acropolis Park
In Nicosia for International Children’s Day, the Parent’s Association and Strovolos Municipality will be organising an event at the Acropolis Park, where kids can enjoy survivor style game and other activities.
When: Saturday, June 1, Acropolis Park, Nicosia 11:00-20:00.
A day for the kids
On June 1, the group Nicosians will be hosting an event for International Children’s Day near the Home for Cooperation. The event will run from 16:30 until 19:30. There will be various activities for the children including, games, art, choirs, orchestral performances, dance, workshops, traditional games, and live music and karaoke.
When: Saturday, June 1, Home for Cooperation, Ledra Palace, Nicosia.
25th Children’s Festival
This Festival will be hosted by the Ayia Napa Municipality in the town’s stadium. There will be a number of activities and live music. The children will also be able to take part in educational activities.
When: Sunday, June 2, Municipal Stadium, Ayia Napa, 18:30-21:30.
Children’s Festival
For International Children’s Day, there will be an event hosted at the old port in Limassol. Children will be able to watch traditional dance performances and enjoy music from various schools around the city. There will also be art, face-painting, and balloon animal stations set up for the kids.
When: Sunday, June 2, Old Port, Limassol, 17:00-21:00.
Children’s Festival – Larnaca
The Larnaca Municipality will also be hosting a children’s festival, where there will be various activities for the kids. The event will be held in the city’s municipal gardens.
