Overview
The Larnaca Cinema Society has been active since 1997 with an aim to quality cinema to the local audience. With screenings every Monday it has reached an audience from varied age groups and backgrounds as they provide many alternative choices to these cinema lovers, from documentaries and independent films to old classics.
Their summer program continues with its Monday screenings and they are held in the Pierides Museum. Films start at 20:30.
All screenings are made possible through funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture and throughout the year there are also collaborations with other local film festivals.
