Overview
One of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Limnaria is situated to the Cape Greco National Forest Park. Located two Kilometres from the centre of Ayia Napa from the centre of the popular resort of Ayia Napa. The 350-metre long beach, otherwise known as Kermia a sandy coastal stretch that is mostly positioned in front of a hotel complex.
The beach has fine, golden sands and calm, crystal-clear waters, with rock pools at the edge of the bay. Facilities on the beach include toilets, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas and water sports facilities, whilst there are a variety of restaurants and accommodation in the area.
Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach in April, May, September and October, from 09:00 – 17:00, and in June, July and August, from 10:00 – 18:00. The beach offers access to all that the National Forest – a Natura 2000 protected site – has to offer, including hiking and diving.
Access is easy by foot, bike or car, and there are car-parking facilities.
