Cyprus Chamber Orchestra announces its autumn concert, with the distinguished piano soloist from London, Benjamin Grosvenor.
The artistic directors of the orchestra, Nihat Agdac and Natalie Neophytou, along with professional Greek and Turkish Cypriots musicians, are ready to get back on stage at Pallas Theatre in Nicosia, on Monday 30th of September, on 20:30, to meet once again the Cypriot audience.
The orchestra has no conductor, allowing the musicians to work as close as possible to each other for the sake of the ensemble, music and their partnership.
The concert will include classical pieces such as, the Ancient Dances & Airs of Ottorino Respighi and two musical pieces of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the 9th Piano Concert with the soloist Benjamin Grosvenor and Mozart’s 25th Symphony in G Minor.
Beyond the magical music journey and the highest level music, CCO is aiming on emphasize the fact that music connects people, regardless of ethnic background, color, nationality and social status, through the power of music.
