The festive season is almost here and Limassol Marina is ready to sparkle with glowing lights! On Saturday, November 24 at 17:30, the city’s most anticipated Christmas tree will be proudly standing at Limassol Marina Square, waiting to switch on its magic lights against the mesmerising setting of the marina.
Along with the tree-lighting ceremony, inaugurating this year’s Christmas on the Sea festivities, this family-friendly event will be complemented by a variety of fun activities and shows.
An interactive arts and crafts workshop for children, organised by IPH House of Arts, will take place in the afternoon, accompanied by Spyros Kapsaskis Choir whose festive carols and songs will indulge both kids and adults into the Christmas spirit.
In this joyful atmosphere, broadcast live by Kanali 6, visitors will also have the chance to support Fundraising Charity Foundation, in an open Christmas market at the Square, presenting an amazing array of stalls with festive-themed products and goodies.
Much-anticipated Santa Claus will also be there to herald the beginning of the festive season and deliver his love and gifts to the children.
The Christmas Lighting Ceremony will be attended by the Mayor of Limassol, Mr Nicos Nicolaides, who will mark the official beginning of this festive season by switching on the lights at Limassol Marina.
