Overview
On May 22 at 19:30, at the Russian Cultural Centre in Nicosia, the concert “The Song Connects” of People’s Artist of Russia Oleg Pogudin will be held within the framework of the project “Russian Theatre Seasons in Cyprus”.
The concert program will include a wide range of musical genres from the artist’s repertoire: classical Russian romances, songs based on E. Evtushenko’s poems, works from B. Okudzhava’s repertoire, and a cycle of French chanson songs.
A special place in the work of Oleg Pogudin is taken by the repertoire of A. Vertinsky, performing which the singer reflects on the difficult fates of those who were destined to become heroes of historical dramas of Russian history of the early 20th century.
The unique manner of trusting dialogue, which characterizes the work Oleg Pogudin, will turn the spectator into a special world of creativity, where a subtle attitude to the song text is associated with the highest acting and musical skill!
