Overview
Limassol is set to fill with wonderful melodies on Thursday June 21 in honour of World Music Day 2018.
Various venues in the city in cooperation with the Alliance Française and the municipality will host musical gatherings with DJs and bands.
Starting at 19:00 the Rialto Theatre invites both audiences and artists of various music genres to a concert without boundaries.
The Coop Band and the Bertedes plus group will be performing at the event set to take place in the city’s Iroon Square.
Next visitors will want to head to some of the local bars hosting events downtown.
At 20:00 ‘Sto Dromo’ bar will feature DJ Marcos to kick off its event. From 21:00-23:00 Avant Tout will play, and starting at 23:00 DJ Kritsineλ’s set will start.
There will also be an event at Saripolou Street. The bar ‘Mallon Glykis’ will have music by Pin Retro starting at 21:00.
Visitors might also want to stop in at ‘Kafeneio Avozo’ on Eleftherias Street, where starting at 20:30 there will Greek ‘Rebetika’ songs.
Entrance to all the events is free.
