Overview
Platanistasa village, just outside Cyprus’ capital, is ready to opens its doors to visitors this weekend as it celebrates hazelnut trees and hazelnut products!
Over the course of the weekend, a walk to the hazelnut forest will be organized, visits to the village’s churches and the Folk Art Museum, as well as a dance & music program which would be incomplete without local food and drink.
The festival is organized by various local councils who will set up kiosks at the village square where you can taste and buy hazelnut products.
