The Larnaca municipality will be host an International Food Festival on October 26 to celebrate International Food Day.
The aim is to promote multiculturalism and to get acquainted with the tastes that exist around the world.
“We want to broadcast social messages, as well as entertain local and foreign visitors,” the municipality said in a statement.
The festival’s organisation has no profit goal in itself, so part of the revenue will support a local charity.
Various professionals will represent different cuisines from China, Thailand, Japan, America, Argentina, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Mexico, England, Cyprus, Greece and others.
There will also be music from different parts of the world (from bands and Dj).
Entrance to the event is free, and the fun starts at 18:00.
