Overview
The village of Potamitissa in the Limassol district area of the Troodos Mountains will be hosting a Palouze festival on September 29, where guests will get to taste traditional products made from great must.
The festival is being organised by the village’s youth centre and will feature food, fresh palouze, and zivania.
Festivities start at 16:30 and will run late into the evening.
From 16:30 to 18:30 guests will be able to see how the grapes are mashed and palouze and soutzouko are made from the must, and how zivania is produced.
Guests will be able to try fresh palouze for free.
At 19:00 there will be the group ‘Olympos-Iamatiki’ will perform traditional folk dances.
Starting at 19:30 food and drinks will be served to guests that have booked a reservation. The food will include kleftiko, potatoes, and salad.
