Overview
The municipality of Athienou in the Larnaca district will be hosting a traditional products festival on October 7, where local produce will be available for guests to taste.
The festival will begin at 11:00 and will run throughout the day. Entrance to the event is free, and guests will be able to try traditional bread from Athienou, loukoumia, meat, dairy products, homemade jams, spoon sweets, and nuts, all produced and made in the village.
Stalls will also be set up for guests to buy products and take home with them as tasty souvenirs from Cyprus.
There will be activities for children at the event, and in the morning the kids will be able to sit down to a traditional Athienou breakfast.
Stavros Constantinou and Christiana Artemiou are set to perform at the festival as well.
A more detailed program of the event will be available in September.
