The Rose Festival is hosted annually in the village of Agros, one of the biggest villages of the Troodos Mountains.
Organised on two alternating weekends (12th – 13th & 19th – 20th) in different locations in the village, visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with local workshops that make a variety of products out of roses as well as to learn about how rose water is made and distilled.
The 12th rose festival hosts a rose exhibition with various kinds of kiosks selling unique traditional products. This is accompanied by an entertainment programme, with folk dance and music performances throughout the duration of the festival. All the attractions of the village are also open to the public.
