Overview
For the 8th consecutive year the Nicosia Beer Festival continues to invite beer lovers and music fans to a week-long event. Having been an established event now, it is the biggest beer festival of the island welcoming people of all backgrounds and numerous artists.
Every year the Nicosia September follows a theme and this year it turns its focus on the youth and those with financial difficulties. The message of the festival to the youth is:
-No to drugs
-No to alcoholism
-No to youth delinquency
-No to violence in sport stadiums
-Yes to life
The artists who will open the festival on the 28th are Levrentis Machairitsas, Nikos Portokaloglou, Mirela Pachou and Steve Tesser.
