Overview
The 5th annual World Refugee Day Street Festival is being organized in the heart of Old Nicosia at Faneromeni Square to support and raise solidarity to refugees.
Organized by Cyprus Refugee Council and Cyprus Aware the afternoon will be filled with ethnic dancing and music from various cultures. Visitors can also indulge in home-cooked meals of numerous origins and taste the goods of international refugees living in Cyprus. Info stands will be there educating the public with refugee actions and plans that can be done.
The event is organized under the auspices of the Nicosia Municipality and is co-funded by the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the Republic of Cyprus.
Activities will go on until 22.00.
