On 27th September, 2019, art and culture are honoured at A.G. Leventis Gallery, where they look forward to welcoming you and celebrating World Tourism Day together.
A.G. Leventis Gallery will be open to all visitors from 10.00am until 5.00pm with free admission, free access to the audio guide, and two free guided tours at 10.00am in English and at 3.00pm in Greek.
They want to honour the inextricable link between tourism and culture. A.G. Leventis Gallery believes in the emergence of the economic, social, cultural and political contribution of tourism to the well-being of the international community and especially to Nicosia and Cyprus. Museums, cultural organisations and cultural heritage sites have traditionally attracted a great deal of tourists, both locally and overseas. They also play a key role in cultural tourism as they not only preserve and promote cultural heritage but also create new experiences.
