Overview
The little church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos) in Protaras is situated at Louma Beach right next to the picturesque fishing harbour of Protaras and the Golden Coast Beach Hotel. Similar to the style of Ayia Thekla church and Ayioi Anargyroi, it’s keeps the traditional Greek colours, white and blue, with background the sea.
The church is well-preserved and it’s picturesque setting invites many couples to hold their wedding ceremonies and christenings there. Whether visiting for religious reasons or simply looking a calm spot to relax and photograph the landscape, the church of Saint Nicolas is a great spot.
