Northwest of Paphos International Airport, in the charming small village of Achelia, is a small and safe beach where dogs can run free. Though not ideal for people to swim, it’s a tranquil area where you can rest your feet.
Going to a non-designated dog beach can lead to an €85 fine, so it’s best to be worry-free by following our guide above. Most of these locations aren’t organised beaches, with no sunbeds and umbrellas, so it’s best to take your own and make sure to protect yourself from the strong sun. Please remember to clean up after your pet!
