Overview
Located in the famous coastal resort of Ayios Tychonas in the Limassol district, this is a quiet beach, perfect for relaxation. It is a long sandy shore made up of pebbles and dark grey sands, and a coastal footpath lined with acacias, eucalyptus trees and oleanders.
The waters are clean and the coast gives way to a lovely grassy area with shade provided by further palm and eucalyptus trees.
Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas and two beach cafés/restaurants that also offer free use of their additional facilities to customers. There is also a small park by the second establishment.
Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach from April – October, 09:00 – 17:00, and until 18:00 during the summer season.
Access is easy by foot, bike, bus or car, with car-parking facilities available. The beach also offers disabled access.
