Overview
Located in the Pyrgos area in the Limassol district, the beach of Panayies has a touch of glamour, thanks to the yachts moored at the neighbouring marina, which also protects the sandy beach from south-westerly winds.
The clean waters here are shallow, making it ideal for families with children. Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers, changing rooms, sun beds and umbrellas. There is a large water sports centre, beach volleyball court and restaurant near to the marina.
Facilities of the general area include accommodation, restaurants, cafes and kiosks.
Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach from April – October, 09:00 – 17:00, and until 18:00 during the summer season.
Access is easy by foot, bike, bus or car with car-parking facilities available.
The beach also offers disabled access.
