New luxury restaurant arrivals, which are mainly part of the three new luxury hotels in Limassol and Paphos have made their appearance, while some have occupied prime spaces in Nicosia.

NICOSIA

The Jolly Joker

The Jolly Joker on Stasikratous Street will magnetize creative, Mediterranean cuisine enthusiasts, who thirst for fresh flavours and dishes with exquisite fresh ingredients, Greek and Cypriot originals for all types of diets. The Jolly Joker bears the signature of Sense Restaurant’s top executive chef (recently awarded a Michelin Plate in the Michelin Guide) at the Athens Was Hotel, Alexandros Charalampopoulos and his talented partner Dimitris Dimitriades. A very impressive space with décor that combines a variety of elements to create an aesthetically sound image. Probably one of the most beautiful dining places in Cyprus.

Tocayo

Incredible flavour combinations from Southeast Asia and Latin America, and a well-thought-out menu by award-winning chef Andreas Andreou, is ready for you to enjoy in the new entry of the capital called Tocayo. It opens only at nights and you’ll find it on Stasikratous street in an incredibly atmospheric, relaxed space with decorative elements, but with clever geometric additions. Two renowned bartenders, Dinos Konstantinidis and Andreas Sanidiotis, serve awesome cocktails that you enjoy at a semi-circular bar, as well as at the tables.

LIMASSOL

Wolfgang Steak House

From New York straight to your plate and this statement has no dose of exaggeration. The authentic New York steak house opened in Limassol ready to introduce you to the world of real and very tasty steak. The new restaurant, stamped by its founder, Wolfgang Zwiener, is the first to open in Europe. The interior is decorated with walnut flooring, unique mosaics and suede upholstery on the walls. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining and a bar where guests can enjoy a drink. A registered trademark is the USDA Prime Beef, which goes through a dry maturing process for at least 28 days in dedicated areas within the restaurant. Steak lovers can find timeless dishes such as Porterhouse, Bone-in Sirloin, Rib Eye and Filet Mignon, with Creamed Spinach, Mashed Potatoes and Sautéed Broccoli.

Ristorante Locatelli

Inspired and created by famous chef Giorgio Locatelli, who has a Michelin-starred restaurant in London acquired its first sibling in Cyprus. With a menu clearly and exclusively inspired by Italy, Locatelli is nothing short of handmade pastas, irresistible sweet, and fresh ingredients.

Another internationally recognised restaurant, this time of Japanese origin. Matsushisa Limassol’s menu was inspired by world-renowned chef Nobu Matsushisa. Islands

This ‘open’ restaurant is set in small islets floating on the pool. In essence every small island is a private dining area, which has its own name, inspired by a Greek island. The Islands menu is a tribute to the various cuisines and cultures of the region.

The Grill

Parklane’s steak house only serves dinner and features indoor and outdoor dining areas. It specialises exclusively in grilled meats, such as dry-aged beef, which are aged in special refrigerators. Children under 10 years old are not allowed.
