4 excellent places for brunch in Larnaca

Late mornings are all about brunch, as it is usually too early to get lunch and too late to eat breakfast.  If you are in Larnaca, or just want to head there to spend a day, then stop by these places to get a delicious brunch that is sure to keep you going and fill you up.

Estrella

This is a well-known restaurant in the Greek city of Thessaloniki, and it now has three stores on the island, in Paphos, Limassol, and Larnaca.  On their menu, aside from its famous bougatsan, you will also find breakfast pizza, pancakes, and other vegetarian options.

A delicious choice for brunch is the egg-white omelette made with smoked salmon, avocado, parmesan, graviera, and spinach (€7.50).  If you have a sweet tooth, then you should try their dish Jezebel, a warm croissant filled with mascarpone cheese, rose marmalade, and glazed in strawberry chocolate (€6.50).

Bastet Artisan

You will find this restaurant at the Q City Centre in Larnaca.  Their menu includes a host of dishes, sure to leave your mouth watering.  Aside from the well-known egg dishes served at brunch, you will also find warm croissants with homemade jams, homemade granola, and porridge made with coconut milk.

For a great and healthy breakfast try the Bastet full healthy breakfast (€12), with poached eggs, smoked salmon, avocado, vegetables, tomato sauce, and multigrain bread.  If you are looking for something sweet try the Bastet Hotcakes (€8.50), with warm fluffy pancakes, made with ricotta cheese and served with bananas, butter, powdered sugar, and maple syrup.

To drink try their coffee, premium herbal teas, or their great cocktails.

Edem’s Yard

Recently, the restaurant was renovated, and it is bigger, and brings the same great tastes.

From their menu, try the Smoked Tokyo (€7.50). The dish is an open-faced bagel with poached eggs, salmon, avocado, goat cheese, pomegranate, and balsamic vinaigrette.  If you are looking to satisfy your sugar craving, try the Yard Brioche (€5.50) a French toast briche, with mascarpone cheese, maple syrup, and fresh fruit.

They serve all the breakfast classics, and fresh juice.  Try their homemade iced tea, and especially the one with red berries and peach, or the lemon or matcha tea options (€3).

Mingle

If you love pancakes, eggs, and sandwiches, then you have found the right place.  There are options for everybody, including healthy and vegetarian options.

Try Mingle Pancakes (€8), a tower or three waffles, with bacon, a fried egg, and hash browns on the side, all served with a cheddar dipping sauce.

They make coffee, and caffeine free energising drink, including the Golden Latte (€4), and the turmeric latte, beetroot latte, and Matcha Latte.
