To Palio Sinema – Kalopanayiotis, Nicosia
Angie, the owner and chef, will make sure to prepare her famous makaronia tou fournou, which are sure to impress. But you should know that all her dishes from the appetizers to the mains are all delicious.

Giannakos Tavern – Fikardou, Nicosia
This tavern is located in one of the quaintest villages in Cyprus, Fikardou, a town where time seems to have stopped. There you will find the Giannakos Tavern, housed in one of the village’s stone-built buildings. The tavern serves Cypriot meze daily and on Friday nights, they serve kleftiko. The restaurant is two storeys and has verandas on the ground and upper floors, providing a great view of the village.

To Steki – Askas village, Nicosia district
This a new tavern opened three months ago in one of the island’s quaintest villages. This tavern is housed in an old stone-built house above the river that runs through the village. There is a fireplace and a great view of the mountain. The space says warmth as the décor is traditional. The tavern makes grilled items and serves meze for €17 a person. It is open every Friday and Saturday, while on Sundays it only works in the afternoon. The tavern is open on the weekdays only by reservation.

Castania Tavern – Saranti, Nicosia
This village is located near the town of Lagoudera and is a town built at 1060 metres high. The town is surrounded by forest. The tavern serves freshly cooked Cypriot dishes on the weekends along with its meze.

Louis Restaurant – Prodromos
The town has two restaurants and both are located next to the town’s roundabout. Louis restaurant has an excellent view of the mountain and serves traditional Cypriot cuisine. It is open day and night, as well as, on the weekends.
