The linear trail starts on the Platres-Prodromos Road and connects the monastery of Trooditissa with the village of Foini, and is a 4.5km hike through the forest.
The 2-hour long trail crosses the Trooditissa River, leading to the 8-metre high Chantara waterfall, and then includes a walk along some cliffs before ending just outside the village of Foini.
Plant enthusiasts will be able to spot a number of endemic species including Calabrian pine, strawberry trees, and the golden oaks.
