The village of Chloraka in Paphos will be hosting a traditional festival from September 6 to 8, as part of the town’s celebrations commemorating the birth of the Virgin Mary.
The festival will be hosted in the village square, and will start at approximately 19:30 every day. There will be food and drink for all and there will be a live performances of throughout the evenings.
On September 6 guests will be able to enjoy an exhibit of old photos and traditional products, as well as, a dance show featuring Cypriot, Cretan, and Pontic dances.
There will also be a special tribute to late-Greek singer Dimitris Mitropanos.
On the September 7 guests will have a chance to dance the night away, at a performance by singer Nikos Kourkoulis.
The next day there will be a re-enactment of a traditional Cypriot wedding, and more musical performances.
