The village of Statos-Saint Fotios in the Paphos district will be organising a traditional festival on September 23, where guests will be able to sample the local products made in the village.
Statos-Saint Fotios has a rich tradition of winemaking, trachanas production, and the creation of tsamarella (a cured deli meat).
Visitors will be able to taste the products produced in the village, which will also be for sale during the festival. Guests can also head to the local wineries and industries in the area to see how the products are produced.
There will be a musical program during the event, where guests can see the group ‘Afroditi’ dance traditional folk dances to music played by the group ‘Dias’.
Children will enjoy the play area set up at the festival, where they will find a bouncy castle, a clown, face painting, water colour painting, and other fun activities.
Entrance is free to the event.
