Overview
The Chet Baker Project is an attempt to revisit and interpret in original arrangements, the repertoire of the cool jazz legend, trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker, presented by the ensemble ‘Two for the Road’ that consists by Katherine Petrou (vocals) and George Bizios (guitar/arrangements) with special guest Elias Ioannou (trumpet).
The trio played last month at Technopolis 20, a different concert leaving the best impressions to the audience, therefore, do not miss them this time on Thursday, 5th of March, at 8pm.
The project focuses mainly on Chet’s singing years, which he has been mostly well-known for, but also aims to expose collaborations of his that are less known to the public, with artists such as saxophonist Gerry Mulligan, guitarists Jim Hall, Joe Pass and more.
