Off the coast of Paphos, explore underwater caves that take you on a journey to fantastic depths through the island’s ancient history.
The dive site offers views of a beautiful amphorae-encrusted cave, along with a number of gullies that hide a variety of sea creatures and coral.
Amphorae were used by ancient Greeks as vessels to hold various foods and drinks, most famously wine.
The American team of archaeologists who investigated this site believe that it was created by movements in the seabed over the last two thousand years.
