For anyone, who loves classic motorcycles, and is a fan of the history of vehicles, look no further than the Classic Motorcycle Museum in Old Nicosia, founded by Andreas Nicolaou.
The motorcycle collector has gathered over 150 different motorcycles over 20 years and has vehicles that date from 1914-193 which include Ajs,MV Aqusta, Matchless, Norton, BSA, Royal Enfield and more.
Amongst the special exhibits of the museum are three police bikes that formed part of President Archbishop Makarios III’s police escort, a motorcycle belonging to EOKA (National Organisation of Cypriot Fighters) fighter Stylianos Lenas, and one belonging to the island’s first motorcycle champion – Turkish Cypriot Zeki Isa.
Also found in the museum are a film projection room, a thorough photo gallery, a gift shop, a cafe and last but not least an accessories shop where you can purchase a big range of spare parts of old models of motorcycles.
