Overview
Located below the stunning Kourion archaeological site in Episkopi Bay, this one-kilometre-long stretch of sandy beach is particularly striking, and is a favourite spot for windsurfers.
Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas and several fish taverns. Convenience stores and accommodation can be found a short drive from the site. The beach has been awarded Blue Flag status for meeting high environmental and quality standards.
Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach from April – October, 09:00 – 17:00, and until 18:00 during the summer season.
The Kourion archaeological site, with its famous amphitheatre and mosaics is well worth a visit. The beach is easy to reach by car or bus. The beach also offers disabled access.
