Overview

With cultural roots in the Hellenic and Roman eras, Cyprus has long had a vibrant theatrical tradition. This tradition of artistic expression and entertainment continues today with a number of theatre companies producing local, Greek and foreign plays. In recent years, Cypriot productions have emerged that are presented in the Cypriot dialect.
