Starting at the Platres-Mesa Potamos road this challenging circular route will take you on a journey through pine forests, and offers stunning panoramic views of the valleys in the Troodos mountain range.
The trail is approximately 9km long, and includes many changes in elevation, with the path running up and downhill at various points. The average hike time is estimated at 3-4 hours.
Hikers interested in catching glimpses of local wildlife species will be able to spot Cyprus warblers, wheatears, as well as Bonelli’s eagles along the route.
The path is located within the National Forest Park of Troodos.
