Overview

The circular trail starts on the road that leads to Kampos tou Livadiou picnic site and for the first 1,000 metres is the same path as the Kampos tou Livadiou-Mnimata Piskopon trail.

The trail runs a circular route that is 3mk long and is estimated to take approximately one and a half hours and will give you a chance to view the Solea Valley, Morphou Bay, and the tip of the Troodos mountains known as Mount Olympus.

There are a number of endemic plant species along the trail, including Cyprus skullcap, Troodos Alyson, golden oak, and Troodos sage.

MyCyprusTravel Tip

Morphou Bay is named after the nearby inland town of Morphou. The region is home to a couple of historical sites, including the ancient Greek city of Soli and the ruins known as Vouni Palace
