7 all-inclusive hotels coming to Cyprus in 2019

As visits to Cyprus continue to increase and the number of arrivals is expected to be larger in the summer of 2019, the island is preparing itself to welcome the influx of guests.

In Cyprus, a number of new hotels are set to open their doors and welcome visitors, wishing to explore the beauty of the island.

Below you will find the seven new hotels ready to welcome guests and provide every comfort this year in Limassol, Paphos, and Ayia Napa this year.

Parklane Resort & Spa*****

Limassol

Opening: March 2019

This new hotel is coming to Limassol to take the place of the former Meridien hotel, and will be located on 10,000 square metre plot, surrounded with beautiful gardens, which meet the 300-metre long beach.  The Parklane will host its guests in 53 exclusive suites, and in the hotel there will be three different pools: an indoor one, an outdoor one filled with sea water, and another pool only for adults.  The suites are maisonette style and will have one, two, or three bedrooms, with private pools located in the hotel.  The hotel has also turned its focus to families visiting the island, with its 3,000 square-metre children’s area.  The Parklane also has 11 conference rooms, five restaurants, two bars, a small football field, three tennis courts, and a gym.  The hotel also features a spa, the Kalloni Spa, which is 3,000 square-metres and has 17 rooms for therapies, three therapy suites, and five pools with seawater.

Amara Hotel*****

Limassol

Opening: May 2019

This is the second five-star resort opening in Limassol and will be located near the ancient Amathus sight, in the Ayios Tychonas area.  The Amara is inspired by ancient Greece and the word amarantos, which means undying.  The hotel will have a view of the beach and 207 rooms, while the top floor of the hotel will house a two-storey suite.  The hotel will also house a variety of restaurants for fine-dining options.

Sun City Resort & Residences*****

Sotira, Famagusta

Opening: End of 2019

This resort will open its doors at the end of 2019.  Sun City Spa Resort & Residences is a project that cost €50 million and will be the first tourist development in the area, featuring housing and a five-star resort.  Construction began in 2017 and is expected to finish at the end of the year.

Chrysomare Beach Hotel & Resort*****

Ayia Napa, Famagusta

Opening: 2019

Nissi Avneue is the heart of Ayia Napa, and now the five-star Chrysomare Beach Hotel & Resort is coming to add its own brand of luxury to the mix.  The hotel will be located on Ayia Napa’s Sandy Bay, a blue flagged beach with golden sands.  Currently, the hotel is under construction and will be 54,000 square metres and feature 300 metres of beach.  The hotel will have two restaurants with a buffet, four other restaurants with Italian, Greek, Asian, and Mexican cuisine, four bars, a pool with waterslides, a spa, a gym, conference room, and wedding venues.  The hotel has 320 rooms, made up of normal rooms, family suites, rooms connected to the pool, and suites with their own pool.

Amavi Hotel*****

Paphos

Opening: March 2019

The Amavi hotel is the first hotel in Cyprus exclusively for couples and will be part of the Kanika Hotels group.  The hotel will be located on the coastal road in Paphos.  The Amavi is ideal for couple, and will provide a great experience to create unique memories with your loved ones by the sea.  It is located right on the beach and has a view of the medieval castle in Paphos.  There are two outdoor pools, a gym with an indoor pool, a tennis court, and a spa.  The Amavi features four restaurants and three bars.

Nissiblu Beach Resort****

Ayia Napa, Famagusta

Opening: April 2019

This is the first of the new arrivals set to open in the Nissi area of Ayia Napa, and will provide guests with a great view of the sea, in a modern atmosphere.  The hotel will be made up of four floors with exclusive suites and superior rooms. Nissiblu has three restaurants, three bars, a spa, and a children’s play area.

Ivi Mare Beach****Plus

Paphos

Opening: May 2019

Louis Hotels group has taken on a new hotel, the Ivi Mare in Paphos.  The hotel will be stylish and elegant.  It will open its doors in May 2019, and will feature 148 rooms and be located on beach.  The Ivi Mare will function based on half-board plus, which will allow guests to enjoy breakfast at the hotels main restaurant and dinner at any of the three restaurants in the hotel including the Greek Ouzomezedopoleio and the Akakiko Easy Japanese Dining.
