Located in the outskirts of the Arakapas village in the Limassol district, the Church of Panayia Iamatiki takes its name from a leather icon of the Virgin Mary.
The church is a three-aisled wooden-roofed structure with early sixteenth century wall paintings in the Italo-Byzantine style.
Now housed in a nearby newly built church, the extraordinary leather icon of the Virgin is believed to have special curative powers.
The entrance to the church is free of charge.
